Trust, status and authenticity — the real variables you're changing · 20–30 min
Dr Dev Patel unpacks the psychology research showing that judgements of trust, competence and social standing form from a face in a tenth of a second — long before conscious thought catches up. Drawing on facial perception studies and his own Perception Triad model of trust, status and vitality, he challenges the industry's obsession with ratios and rules, and sets out what the evidence actually means for how we plan treatment.
Nine Patients, Forty Years: The Evidence Behind the Retinoid-Laser Rule
