“Raising the standard in aesthetics isn’t optional. Transparency and patient safety are the only ethical way forward — the tools to make it possible already exist.”

Rethinking Safety in Aesthetic Medicine: From Data Gaps to Accountability

The aesthetic medicine industry has long operated in the shadow of incomplete safety data: short follow-up periods, absent adverse event registries, limited product safety evidence, and no centralised way for patients to track what is being injected into them.

This presentation challenges that status quo. Through an evidence-based analysis of immune response timelines across key injectable products, Kat confronts what the industry does not yet know, and acts on what it does. Safety in aesthetics is not a moment. It is a responsibility that extends across the full biological lifetime of every product injected. Accountability begins with education, transparency, and the right practical tools.
